Bobby Previte would always joke with saying that pay for gigs these days is shit to what he used to make in Manhattan in the 80's and even 90's. Even a gig like Bar4 would at least pay 50 bones, which was usually 1/4 of a starving artists rent. I think this gig we walked away with $14 /per man. Do the math. I'm still in debt to Bobby making it down to BK to play usually once a month. But he know's the deal. We wanted to play the music and that's all that has ever mattered.
